Farm Credit of Western Kansas, ACA, moved to its new office located at 1190 South Range in Colby, Kansas in November of 2009.  Members are welcome to stop by during normal business hours to tour the building and visit with the staff.

The FLBA and PCA buildings were sold in 2009.

The Board of Directors of Farm Credit Western of Kansas, Agricultural Credit Association (ACA) is pleased to announce that in June it paid out $2,000,000 in patronage to the members of the Association. This patronage represents the return of interest paid by members during calendar year 2009.

Payment of this patronage is made possible by the net interest income, crop insurance sales, and related fee income earned by the Association. Over the past eleven years, Farm Credit has returned over fourteen million dollars of cash patronage to its farmer members. This represents money that has been placed back into the local economy.  Unlike most other agricultural lenders, Farm Credit raises its loan funds through the sale of AAA-rated Farm Credit bonds to investors in the nation's money markets.

Farm Credit of Western Kansas, ACA is located in Colby, Kansas and is the leading agricultural lender in the nine counties of northwest Kansas with over $240 million in assets including loans to young, beginning, and small farmers. Farm Credit makes loans for the purchase or refinance of farm, ranch or agribusiness real estate and facilities as well as loans to finance farm operations, livestock and equipment. The farmers and ranchers who borrow from Farm Credit own the ACA. Farm Credit of Western Kansas is an independent unit of the Farm Credit System, the nation's leading agricultural lender.
